On April 1, 2026

Assumption University of Thailand (AU)  welcomed faculty and staff to a timely and practical workshop, Retirement Planning for a Happy, Secure and Prosperous Future, held at the Suvarnabhumi Campus on April 1, 2026.

Hosted jointly by the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME) and the Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM), the workshop reflected the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting the long-term well-being of its personnel, not only in their professional lives, but also in their personal financial readiness for the future.

The session featured Dr. Sarina Preechalert, Deputy Chairperson of the Department of Finance and Risk Management at MSME, as the keynote speaker. Drawing on her expertise, she guided participants through key principles of retirement planning, offering practical insights into how thoughtful preparation can help create a future that is more secure, stable, and fulfilling.

Throughout the workshop, staff members were encouraged to think proactively about financial management, long-term goals, and the importance of building a strong foundation for retirement. The session emphasized that retirement planning is not simply about the end of one’s working years, but about preparing for a new stage of life with confidence, dignity, and peace of mind.
